International Trade Specialist

About the role

Do you have experience working in an international trade environment?

One of the region’s largest business membership organisations have an opportunity for an International Trade Specialist to join their office in Durham.

The role

Working in their highly knowledgeable and experienced International Trade team, you will provide their global members with the advice, support and information needed to unlock their exporting potential, ensure the security of their supply chain, and develop their presence on the global stage.

In this role you will work collaboratively across the business’s networks to maximise their international trade commercial opportunities. Their aim is to provide North East businesses with the expertise, tools and support to enable their members to successfully trade internationally.

About you

Direct experience of international sales/procurement or supply chain management/operations or customs processes within the UK dealing with EU/ROW trade is essential.

Skills and experience are important but what is important above all else is character and the willingness to learn and achieve. It is vitally important that they find the right person who fits into their beliefs and culture!

Benefits

In return they are offering a salary of £30,000, flexible hours over a 35-hour week, and hybrid working.
