Project Support Officer

About the role

We are recruiting a Project Support Officer to work for our Newcastle based client on a permanent basis. There is a flexible work patter with hybrid working available. Working within the operations team, this is a fully supportive role working within a busy department who thrive on teamwork.

This is a varied role and excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator to support the needs of the business as it grows.

About the role:

  • Assist team with admin tasks, communicating with stakeholders and colleagues.

  • Provide an admin service to the business, including keeping accurate records and files, electronic filing systems and ensuring processes are up to date.

  • Diary management and admin support for senior colleagues, and arranging meetings including face to face and virtual, setting agendas and minute taking

  • Inbox management and sending emails on behalf of others

  • Work alongside project leads to make sure information is recorded accurately

  • Work collaboratively with the other project support officers to prioritise and distribute workload

  • Assist the communications team with strategy development

About you:

  • Business admin qualification or 2-3 years’ experience, and experience of diary management and administration duties

  • Excellent IT skills including MS Office

  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently, under pressure

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Strong awareness of confidentiality and security requirements
