Technical Project Manager

Salary: ~ £40,000
The role is 37.5hrs utilising a hybrid model, with an office based in Newcastle.
Job Summary
We have an exciting new opportunity for a 12-month fix term Technical Project Manager to join us. You will be instrumental in delivering our new Procure to Pay market leader hospitality solution across all our Inn’s.
You should understand the importance of exceptional personable skills to accompany technical knowledge. We’re seeking intelligent, diligent, and friendly colleagues who can combine their existing understanding with newly acquired skills to become an asset to our highly valued team. You will be reporting into the Head of IT.
Responsibilities & Duties
To autonomously manage the implementation of the P2P project as determined by the Project champion.
To identify & manage project objectives and resources from all levels within the organisation for timely delivery of projects.
To create project status reports to the Sponsors/Project champions through the agreed reporting mechanism.
To represent the companies interests whilst providing the business with the most efficient implementation and training of the project through to Early life support then into BAU.
To adhere to the Best Practice of the PCC Project Management Methodology
To attend and comply with all training required for the role
Manage technical impact assessments of systems, applications, and data as part of the project risk assessment
Ensure compliance with legislation for all our company data.
Provide ongoing evaluation of our infrastructure to ensure alignment with our P2P objectives and identify areas of risks and opportunities.
'hands-on' skills will be required across all areas of the projects to deliver the solution where necessary.
Build strong relationships with Project stakeholders and ensure the projects are clearly communicated and understood
Work hand in hand with the 3rd party project team.
Required Skills
Excellent IT literacy skills
Passionate about delivering value, on time and above customer and internal expectations
Ability to breakdown and deliver the needs of the client (Internal or external)
Ability to demonstrate experience of managing and implementing ICT projects
Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Strategic Planning & Execution including business case development.
The ability to analyse and assess complex situations and design effective solutions
Liaison and collaboration skills to work with others to undertake role
The ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to a wide range of people
Strong personal organisational skills with the ability to take responsibility for managing his/her own workload
The ability to prioritise correctly in line with strategic goals
